History
In late 2007, four communities along highways 39 and 20 met to discuss working on various economic resources that could be addressed collectively for the region’s benefit. This brought the four communities –the Town of Calmar and Villages of Thorsby, Warburg and Breton – to a new level of co-operation, and has helped build efficient working relationships between the communities. In 2011, those discussions came to fruition.

One of the primary aims of the Alliance is to promote economic development opportunities within the region and to provide support to the existing business community in order to create wealth and improve quality of life for the region’s residents.

Apollo Concrete is currently owned by Colin McCracken & Todd Hoople. Apollo Concrete was started back in 1979 by Bob Lemamyer. Colin and Todd have a combined concrete production experience of over 50 years. We truly enjoy the industry and supplying the area with quality concrete. Some of the largest projects we have been involved with are the Hwy 16 bridge over Pembina River, Hwy 16 underpass under Hwy 16 at Enwistle, Hwy 22 bridge over North Saskatchewan by Drayton Valley, Water Treatment Plant at Rocky Rapids and Waters Edge. We work hard to provide quality concrete with an emphasis on customer service. Most of our valued employee's have been with us for many years leading to good consistent service.

 Founded in 1910, we are the largest female organization in the world! For girls seeking fun & adventure, as well as lifelong challenges. As Guiding challenges girls to reach their potential and empowers them to give leadership and service as responsible citizens of the world. Goals are achieved through a well rounded blend of activities. Weekly meetings from September to mid April with camps and special events throughout the year. Sparks 5 & 6 yr olds ( K & Grade 1); Brownies 7 & 8 yr olds (Grades 2 & 3); Guides 9 12 yr olds (Grades 4, 5 & 6); Adult Leaders 18 years and up. Pathfinders 12 14 year olds. Grades 7, 8 & 9

We are dedicated to the restoration, preservation and administration of the Warburg Cultural Center. WCC is used as a place of learning and celebration of culture through specific programs and events.
WCC is available for you to rent.
WCS has rectangular & round tables, chairs, table clothes, wine glasses and a wooden arch for rent.
